Can You Resell BTS Tickets? A Seller’s Guide

    Published October 25, 2026 · Updated October 25, 2026

Check BTS tickets resale rules for your order, then compare official listings, direct offers, fees and payout timing before you sell.

For BTS tickets resale, your order sets the rules. You can sell if the event allows resale or a valid transfer. Open the tickets in the account where you bought them. Seeing a ticket on your phone does not mean you can list it or send it to a buyer. If both options are blocked, do not take payment until you have an approved way to deliver the ticket.

WeBuyTickets buys eligible tickets directly. You submit the details, review an offer, transfer the tickets and receive payment via PayPal or Venmo after the transfer. You still need permission to deliver the tickets.

    Can you resell BTS tickets?

Rules can differ by BTS date, venue, ticket type and seller. Your particular order tells you whether you can list the tickets with the original provider, send them to another account, or neither. BTS listings on another site tell you nothing about what your order permits.

Before choosing a buyer, sign in to the purchase account and open the event order. Look for Sell and Transfer separately. Read the event notice on the order page or in your confirmation email too. Sell may be unavailable even when Transfer works.

What it means for your next step

    Sell and Transfer are available

You can consider an official listing or a permitted direct sale; compare the proceeds and the delivery obligations.

Sell is unavailable, Transfer is available

You cannot list through that account's resale flow right now. A direct offer or a marketplace that permits delivery by that transfer method may be possible, subject to the event terms.

Sell is available, Transfer is unavailable

The official resale flow may be the workable route. Do not promise an off-platform account transfer you cannot perform.

    Both are unavailable

Do not assume a screenshot, forwarded email or account login is a substitute for a ticket transfer. Review the event terms and ask the original ticket provider what options your order has.

Read the wording around any restriction. An organizer may limit resale or transfer for a particular ticket type. If your tickets came through a presale or have special entry conditions, use the terms on that order rather than a rule circulating for another BTS show. Ticketmaster says organizers control when Ticket Transfer is available.

Why is Ticketmaster resale unavailable for some holders?

You might see your BTS tickets in Ticketmaster without being able to use Sell. The organizer controls resale eligibility, and Transfer has its own rules. If Sell is greyed out, look at Transfer and the event notice before you offer the seats to anyone. For listing steps, find How to Sell Tickets on Ticketmaster in our ticket-selling guides. For this order, the handoff rules come first.

Choose a BTS tickets resale route that fits your order

First work out how you can deliver the tickets. Then compare what each route pays you and when.

Official resale through the original ticket provider

List through the order's Sell control, when offered.

Review any seller charges and the payout terms shown before submitting. A listing is not a sale until it sells.

Suits sellers who want the provider's supported resale flow; the price and listing options may be limited by the event.

    WeBuyTickets direct offer

Submit ticket details in about 60 seconds, review an AI-powered offer, then transfer eligible tickets after accepting. No public listing or buyer negotiation.

No seller fees; payment via PayPal or Venmo shortly after a completed transfer, with an offer in minutes.

Suits someone who values a quick, certain buyer and last-minute help up to event start time; you may get less than you could from a higher-priced listing that actually sells.

    Third-party marketplace

Create a listing, set a price and follow its delivery instructions if the order allows that handoff.

Compare seller fees, payout trigger and delivery deadline before listing. You may wait for a buyer.

Suits a seller willing to manage pricing and fulfillment for a chance at a higher net return; delivery disputes and unsold tickets remain possible.

    What price should you ask?

Use the face value on your receipt as a starting point, then compare seats for the same show. Asking prices in another city are poor comparisons, and an unsold listing tells you what someone hopes to get, not what a buyer will pay. Follow any price limit on your order.

Calculate net proceeds = sale price minus seller fees and other stated charges. Our ticket resale fee comparison lays out the cost side. Set the likely net against a direct offer, allowing for the chance that your listing will not sell. If you have time, a listing may bring in more. A direct buyer saves you that wait near showtime.

How to resell BTS tickets without a delivery problem

    1. Confirm the order and quantity. Note the date, venue, section, row, seat numbers and ticket type from your original account. If only some seats are available, specify exactly which ones you are selling.

    2. Check the permitted handoff. If you plan to sell outside the original provider, ensure Transfer works for those seats and that event terms allow your proposed delivery. Do not treat a static screenshot of a mobile barcode as transferable admission.

    3. Choose a route and read the payment terms. For a listing, compare the expected net amount, sale deadline and payout trigger. For a direct offer, read the amount and transfer instructions before accepting.

    4. Transfer through the supported account flow. Enter the recipient details carefully. Keep the transfer confirmation and the order details; make sure the recipient can accept the transfer where required.

    5. Keep records of the handoff and payment. Save the offer or sale confirmation, transfer status and payment receipt. If a transfer cannot be completed, contact the platform or buyer before the promised delivery deadline rather than sending login credentials.

Selling close to showtime gives you less room for a failed transfer. WeBuyTickets accepts last-minute submissions up to event start time and offers responsive support. An offer still cannot override your event's transfer restriction.

What if resale or transfer is unavailable?

Do not advertise a ticket as ready to send unless you can deliver it. If Sell is disabled and Transfer works, the ticket terms may still allow a direct sale. If only Sell works, use that resale flow rather than promising a separate transfer.

If both options are disabled, read the notice in your account and ask the original ticket provider about your order. The controls may depend on event timing, but they might never change. Do not share your account password or send barcode screenshots. And do not take money hoping that transfer will open later.

    The bottom line

Your BTS order determines whether you can resell the tickets. If Sell or Transfer is available, choose a permitted route based on what you will take home and when you will get paid. If transfer is allowed and you would rather skip the listing and seller fees, submit your tickets to WeBuyTickets for a direct offer in minutes. You can review the offer before committing.

    FAQ

How do you resell BTS tickets?

Open your event order in the original ticketing account and check its Sell and Transfer options. If Sell is available, you can use the supported resale flow; if Transfer is available and the event permits it, you can consider a direct buyer or a marketplace that accepts that delivery method. Do not collect payment for tickets you cannot deliver.
